Dear Colleagues and Friends of MiTE,

We are writing to inform you that unfortunately MiTE Conference 2020 will not now go ahead in Galway in May 2020, due to the Novel Coronavirus Disease 2019 (Covid-19).

It is with great disappointment that we make this difficult decision, and we would like to thank our proposed Keynote Speakers for MiTE 2020, Işıl Boy Ergül and Michael O'Kane.

A huge amount of work has been completed in organising our programme and we would also like to thank all of you who were accepted to present your research. We do intend hosting MiTE at a later date or alternatively hosting MiTE 2021 early in the New Year. We will keep you updated as soon as plans can be made and we look forward to your contributions at that time.

Our work on Mobile, Digital, Virtual and Distance Learning, and their affordances for Teacher Education, has only been highlighted further through these recent difficult times with school closures. Our contribution to the field is extremely important now, more than ever.

We wish you well with all your work in this important field and look forward to your valued contributions to MiTE Conference in the future.

Stay Safe,

Ní neart go cur le chéile

Seán, Sináad & Tony.
